In the United States, 26% who participate in school and community service activities,
26% who spend over $170 billion a year,
and 26% who care about the world.
However, that's also
26% of the population who cannot vote
and 26% who are supposed to be seen and not heard,
making for a resounding 100% of the future
who have not been encouraged to exercise leadership today.
Shouldn't young people have a voice in issues that directly concern them?
Nearly half the
entire world population--46%--is under age 18 and these young people represent 100% of the future. Maximum youth involvement is absolutely essential for building a smarter, healthier and more peaceful world.
THERE'S NO MINIMUM AGE FOR LEADERSHIP.
This site aims to prove that MINORS can play a MAJOR ROLE. Everyone--especially teens and tweens--are invited to email or call our toll-free hotline. Also, our national
nonprofit clearinghouse provides information and resources to youth workers, mentors, teachers, principals, policy makers, parents and organizations that want to support young advocates. Click on YOUTH STRATEGIES for free downloads of two of our youth empowerment publications.
